An iconic image with an interesting backstory. The cover features Elton John in a striking tiger striped jacket and black pants, standing in front of a backdrop of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. This backdrop was inspired by the Caribou Ranch recording studio in Colorado, where part of the album was recorded. The photo shoot was directed by David Larkham,
